How Secndz Bakehouse Ltd collects, uses and protects customer information.
Last updated: 6 October 20261. Who we are
Secndz Bakehouse Ltd is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Our address is Bay Hall, Miln Road, Birkby, Huddersfield, HD1 5EJ. For privacy questions or requests, email iwantsecndz@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, order details, collection details, payment status, refund information and messages you send us. If you join our launch waitlist, we collect your email address and the time you requested the reminder. Stripe processes your card details; we do not receive or store your full card number.
We also count page views, incoming visits and estimated time while a page is visible to understand website traffic. Timing pauses when the page is hidden. We store daily totals by page and broad source (such as Instagram, TikTok or Google). This analytics feature uses no tracking cookies or persistent visitor identifiers and does not store IP addresses, full referring URLs or personal visitor records. If you turn statistics off, we save only that preference in your browser so we can respect your choice.
Website statistics preferences
You can stop future statistics collection in this browser at any time. Previously collected anonymous totals cannot be linked back to you.
Website statistics are enabled for this browser. We remember your choice on this device only.
3. Why we use it
We use information to take and fulfil orders, collect payment, provide confirmations and collection information, manage cancellations and refunds, answer questions, resolve problems, prevent fraud, keep legally required business and accounting records, and protect our legal rights.
If you request a launch reminder, we use your consent to send that reminder. The launch waitlist is not an agreement to receive ongoing marketing, and you can withdraw your request before launch by emailing us. If we introduce optional marketing, we will ask for consent where required and provide a way to unsubscribe.
Our other main lawful bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the business and preventing fraud.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with trusted providers that help us run the business, such as Stripe for payments and providers used for website hosting, email, order administration, accounting and professional advice. We may also disclose information where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell customer information.
5. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on an approved legal safeguard or another lawful transfer mechanism designed to protect your information.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected. Launch-waitlist addresses will be removed after the reminder has been sent and any delivery issues have been resolved, unless you separately choose to receive future marketing. Order, payment and accounting records may be retained for up to six years where needed for tax, accounting or legal purposes. Enquiries and customer-service records are reviewed and deleted when they are no longer required.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information; restrict or object to its use; and receive certain information in a portable format. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
8. Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its updated date.
